A South Korean content creator named Jieun Mieun posted a video of her Shabbat-inspired Friday night dinner. Her account, “Dear Israel,” says in its description that its purpose is “Connecting Korea & Israel. Eternal friends under God. Sharing the heart and beauty of Korea with our brothers and sisters in Israel.” Her video showing how she and her friends celebrate their own version of Shabbat became instantly popular online.
