Miriam S. Weinkle

Jul 4, 1928 Death date:Oct 5, 2026

Weinkle BDE, beloved wife of Dr. Milton Weinkle z”l, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by family, who loved and cherished her deeply.

Miriam was the loving mother of Tracy Mindlin z”l, Frederick Mindlin z”l, her son-in-law, Scott Weinkle, Todd Weinkle, and Barney Weinkle, and a beloved mother-in-law to Ilene Weinkle. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Michael Mindlin and Jennifer Mindlin, and grandmother-in-law to Kenny Griemsmann; Jordan Weinkle and granddaughter-in-law Hannah Weinkle; Taylor Weinkle and granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Weinkle; and Paige Weinkle Kaindl and grandson-in-law Peter Kaindl.

She treasured her great-grandchildren: Peter Weinkle, Judah Weinkle, Theodore Kaindl, Peter Barney Kaindl, and Gal Weinkle.

Family was at the center of Miriam’s life. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by those she loved. Her family, in turn, adored her and will forever carry with them the love, warmth, words of wisdom, and memories she gave so generously.

Miriam was a talented and accomplished singer and pianist who had a true appreciation for the beautiful things in life. She loved antiques, art, traveling, fashion, cooking for her family, and spending quiet time gardening around her home. She was also a die-hard football fan and especially loved “her Miami Hurricanes,” cheering them on with passion and pride year after year. Her home was a place filled with warmth, wonderful meals, music, sports, laughter, and love.

For many years, Miriam worked alongside her husband, the love of her life, Dr. Milton Weinkle z”l, in his dental practice. They shared a love story that others could only dream of and were truly each other’s best friends. Later, she worked in the real estate industry. She also generously devoted much of her time to charitable causes, helping others, and giving back to her community until her retirement.

Miriam will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, her elegance, her sense of humor, her generosity, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was known by many and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave, the family she nurtured, and the memories she created will live on forever.
She will never be forgotten.
