The article highlights his participation in events connected to organizations such as CAIR, WhyIslam, and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), groups that have faced scrutiny from some lawmakers and security analysts over alleged connections to extremist ideologies.
The report also points to past public comments made by Mohammad criticizing the United States and questioning the political priorities of former Florida congressmen. Critics argue that his political history and associations are inconsistent with the values of the Republican Party and have called on Florida Republican leaders to distance themselves from his campaign.
