Jerusalem — The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) has released a new report warning of a sharp rise in antisemitic incidents worldwide, fueled by online hate speech and extremist rhetoric. The study, conducted by CAM’s Antisemitism Research Center (ARC), highlights how digital platforms are amplifying hostility toward Jewish communities and translating it into real‑world violence.
The report points to Florida’s congressional race, where a candidate’s X account allegedly contained antisemitic content in nearly one‑third of its posts, reaching millions of users. CAM also documented incidents across Europe and Asia, including assaults on Jewish individuals in Italy and Montenegro, antisemitic graffiti in Greece, and verbal abuse in the Philippines.
Researchers emphasize that this surge reflects a dangerous trend: online hate is spilling into physical attacks, from vandalism to direct assaults. CAM is calling for stronger cooperation between governments, tech companies, and civil society to counteract antisemitic narratives before they escalate further.
