Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando (JFS Orlando) has secured a significant in‑kind donation to help meet community needs. A local company provided 21 pallets of bottled water, totaling more than 43,000 pounds, to the Pearlman Food Pantry in Winter Park.
The pantry, one of the region’s most vital resources for families struggling with food insecurity, often faces shortages of bottled water — one of its most requested items. Demand typically spikes during Florida’s hurricane season, when access to clean drinking water becomes even more critical.
Leaders at JFS Orlando emphasized that the donation will ensure the pantry can continue serving vulnerable residents, offering both food and essential supplies. The contribution also highlights the role of local businesses in supporting community resilience during times of heightened risk.
With hurricane season approaching, the Pearlman Food Pantry is preparing to distribute the water to families across Central Florida, reinforcing its mission to provide stability and relief in times of need.
