Mordechai Abuhav
After returning home to Bnei Brak from a hiking trip with his friends in the north of Israel
earlier in the week,18 year old yeshiva student Mordechai Abuhav fell ill and was
rushed to Sheba Hospital in Tel HaShomer the next day.
After being diagnosed with a brain edema and around the clock treatment, Mordechai
sadly passed away in the evening of August 21st.
Hundreds of people attended his funeral on Thursday morning.
The family spoke to Israel National News- Arutz Sheva about how this is now the
second death to befall the family during the “bein hazmanim”. The deceased’s uncle
drowned during this period twenty years ago.
Grandson to Hazan Abouhof, who has been a long time Hazan during the High Holidays
at Temple Moses in Miami Beach.Temple Moses will honor him on the 30th day, in mid
September, more details to come.
