The Learning Collective: A Jewish Teacher Residency is a new collaboration from the Jewish Federation of Broward County, the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s Commission for Jewish Education.
This program is designed to recruit – and engage – cohorts of new part-time teachers, who we will match with South Florida synagogue religious schools who need more educators.
The Learning Collective offers a flexible and rewarding opportunity for adults, from recent college graduates to retirees, who are looking to transform their downtime into meaningful time. With six paid online training sessions ($600) and ongoing mentoring, this program fits the needs of adults of all ages, no matter their stage of life, while earning a competitive salary.
Individuals of all levels of Judaic backgrounds and experience are encouraged to apply now in order to be assigned a class by Fall 2023. Interested applicants can visit JewishTLC.org for more information or contact Judy Levenson, Director of Educational Excellence at jlevenson@jewishbroward.org or 954-660-2076.
