Gerhardt Gustav Moos was born on May 14, 1922 in Ulm, Germany to Grete and Karl Julius Moos. Gary, as he was known, survived the Dachau concentration camp and after going to then, Palestine, was in the English Army. He reunited with his parents and sister Gabriella in Rochester, New York. In Rochester, he married Ruth and they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Gary became a CPA. They then moved to North Miami. They had two daughters, Judith Ann and Laura Beth. In North Miami, Gary opened an accounting firm and found his perfect partner and life-long friend, Jay Linn. He then became President of the North Dade Chamber of Commerce and the North Dade, South Broward Estate Planning Council. He also was on the board of the Maxine Baker Mental Health Clinic. Gary was a life-long member of Temple Sinai of North Dade, becoming Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. Gary was also the treasurer of the Miami Dolphins fan club although not really understanding American football. After Ruth died, Gary married Sharon Levy and had a son, Joel Steven.

He is predeceased by his beloved wives, Ruth, Sharon and Miriam, and his beloved daughter, Laura Beth Moss. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Moss, his daughter, Judith Ann Yeroushalmi (David), his son, Joel Steven Moss (Belinda), his stepsons, Avi Sharon (Megan), Yaki Sharon and Michael Braun (Heather) and his stepdaughter, Debra Hartmann (Daniel), his grandchildren, Mattan Yeroushalmi (Vesna), Drew & Benjamin Moss, Jessica Ravelo, Ashlyn, Nathan Braun & Sadie Braun, Daniel Sharon (Kellynn), Michael & Rachel Banks and Elan & Rami Sharon.

Services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Sinai of North Dade, 18801 NE 22nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33180.
