Born on January 7, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, Lila lived a long and meaningful life filled with love for her family and devotion to those closest to her. Throughout her 97 years, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, wisdom, and caring spirit.

Lila is survived by her beloved brother, Yossie Vita, and his wife, Marsha, along with their children Tzvi, Eli, Benji, and Pesach, and their wives and children.

She was the devoted mother of Donald, Marc, and Andy, and is also survived by her daughters-in-law Eileen, Gail, Lois, Judy, and Saralyn.

Lila’s greatest joy was her family, and she leaves behind her cherished granddaughters: Rebecca, Melissa, Marisa, Whitney (Max), Emma (Suraj), and Chloe (Max).

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense happiness: Isabella, Max, Alice, and Agnes.

Lila will be remembered for the love she shared, the guidance she offered, and the lasting impact she had on generations of her family. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Beth David Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, Florida.
