Brightline has exciting news, as they are set to double their train service between Miami and Orlando, with 30 daily trips beginning this coming Monday.
This announcement follows closely on the heels of Brightline’s inaugural journey to central Florida, which took place less than two weeks ago. The company is expanding its service significantly, now offering 15 trains in each direction to and from Orlando, a significant increase from the current eight trips in each direction.
For travelers heading from Miami to Orlando, the first train will depart at 6:41 a.m., arriving in Orlando at 10:19 a.m. The last train of the day will leave Miami at 9:41 p.m. Meanwhile, those traveling from Orlando to Miami can catch the first train at 4:38 a.m., with arrival in Miami at 8:11 a.m. The final train departing Orlando will be at 8:54 p.m.
Brightline’s train network also includes stops in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. To accommodate various schedules, additional early morning and late-night trains will operate between these stations.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for Brightline, as it now connects Miami and Orlando, following its previous service reaching only as far as West Palm Beach. This achievement comes nearly three months after the completion of the rail line construction between Miami and Orlando.
Trips from Miami to Orlando last about three and a half hours at speeds up to 125 mph.
